ANYWAY.
Sophie came over for a few days recently, and we (the two of us, plus George and Anneke), went to Poitiers for the day. It was kind of whistle stop, so I'm hoping to go back and do some more exploring, not least because I didn't get to visit the macaron shop, but so far, it is one of my favourite cities in France.
I won't bore with details (we were going too fast for details, tbh)), but here are some photos!
These are the law courts that we visited. The building was old, and people dressed in robes. It was possibly Hogwarts.
Here are Sophie and me, enjoying the legal profession.
Here is the 'English Church'. I'm not sure why it's called that, it is quite clearly in France.
This is one of the city's two cathedral. I'm saving the second one for next time.
On the inside there were some pipes.
And some Christianity.
The buildings are old.
This is the Hotel de Ville. You can't stay here.
